Established in 2001, Holmesville Playhouse Preschool has been a home providing a safe and nurturing environment for our children. We are a family-owned and operated preschool conveniently located on a quiet suburban street, easily accessible off the F3 freeway. At Holmesville Child Care – all children will feel welcomed and at home.
Here at Holmesville, we support everyone and welcome all children as our own. We also support each child’s individual needs; tailor their education to their abilities, and help them with their early learning journey. We are all one family at Holmesville Playhouse Preschool, and we take care of our family!
Our child care centre centrally located in Holmesville, welcomes children from Holmesville, West Wallsend, Cameron park, Edgeworth, Killingsworth and all surrounding suburbs.

Understanding the importance of early childhood education, we have framed a structured curriculum that encourages learning and is based on early learning culture, ideas, abilities, interests, and strengths.
Wellness & Mindful Activities to Encourage Your Child’s Wellbeing
At Holmesville, we strive to nurture your little one’s well-being to ensure they’re resilient, mindful little people. Over the past two years, their social ability has been diminished due to recent lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic. We saw this as a shame and a real detriment to your child’s learning abilities and overall social well-being. So we took action.
We have now implemented yoga and mental well-being sessions where we teach your child mindfulness and help them become more social and less anxious in the process. We always create an inclusive environment where each child can be themselves, and with these mindful sessions, we emphasise the importance of social awareness, helping them grow!

As parents, you will be concerned about the health conditions of your little ones while they are with us. Don’t worry! All our staff have mandatory up-to-date first aid certificates and also undergo special training to deal with anaphylaxis and asthma. Get to know our team of dedicated teachers, and you’ll soon become to regard them as friends, and they will welcome you like family.”
